Advising Services
Advising for Fall 2009
We are currently scheduling appointments for students who are on academic probation and students who wish to be advised for fall 2009. If you have yet to declare your major or you are exploring possible majors, you can make an appointment with an advisor in our office to discuss your fall 2009 schedule. Please call our appointment line, 974-4483, or come by the office to schedule an appointment with an advisor.
If you have declared your major or are in a different college, you must be seen by that major or college to be cleared for fall. Advisors in this office cannot clear declared majors.
If you will be attending UT for the first time either this summer or fall, you will need to sign up for an orientation session. New freshmen or transfer students should call 865-974-2435 or visit the orientation website at http://sold.utk.edu/ for more information. New students are not advised through individual appointments in this office. All new students must attend an orientation session for summer and/or fall advising and scheduling.
