Dear Graduating Student,
Hardcopy invitations to graduations will be sent very soon to the semester address you have registered at Circle Park Online. Last spring, a large number of invitations were not received by graduates because they had failed to update the addresses entered when they were freshmen. To ensure you receive your invitation, please go to https://cpo.utk.edu/CPOWeb/enterCPO.jsp and click on Enter CPO (located to the left and bottom of the screen). After signing in, select Change Address (located to the left). Make sure the third option--the Semester Address--is correctly entered, and then click Submit Semester Address Change. Correct semester addresses are due Wednesday, February 13 for the sending of graduation invitations.
If you plan to attend the spring College of Arts and Sciences' commencement ceremony on Friday, May 9, 2008 in Thompson Boling Arena and Assembly Center, you must submit an online RSVP by Monday, March 24, 2008 (the day after spring break). To RSVP, go to www.artsci.utk.edu, click on the graduation graphic, and then select the RSVP Information tab.
We have worked diligently to provide a thorough site to answer the many questions you and your guests might have. Please take some time to read through the other tabs for ceremony details, disability accommodations, etc. Make sure to write down the key dates and deadlines given including when to pick up your required seating card, when honor cords will be available, and when the graduation rehearsal will be held. The site will be updated as information becomes available, so bookmark it and pass it along to your guests!
