CAP, GOWN, AND TASSEL
All graduates (including members of ROTC) are required to wear a cap and gown during commencement. The deadline for ordering these items was Thursday, March 27 (yes, March 27). If you have yet to place your order, you need to do soimmediately as quantities and correct sizes are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will be asked to submit the following:
--student id number (e.g., 000-123-456)
--contact information
--height
--weight
--$29.49 (including tax)
The above information can be submitted at the graduation counter (located to the right of the stairs which lead down to the textbook area). If you have any questions regarding the cap, gown, and tassel, please contact the graduation counter at 974-3459.
INVITATIONS
The graduation counter has sold out of all graduation invitations. If you are interested in purchasing invitations, please visit http://jostens.com/. If you have any questions regarding invitations or if you would like to place an order, please contact Jostens Customer Service for assistance at 800.854.7464.
CLASS RINGS
Class rings purchased by Thursday, March 27 will be available by graduation; class rings purchased after this date will be received in 4-6 weeks approximately. Rings can be ordered at the graduation counter in the University Center bookstore (located to the right of the stairs which lead down to the textbook area), but Jostens often offers discounts to students who purchase directly from their company. DIPLOMA FRAMES
Diploma frames can be ordered year-round at the graduation counter in the University Center bookstore (located to the right of the stairs which lead down to the textbook area). If you have any questions regarding frames, please contact the graduation counter at 974-3459.
DIPLOMAS
Your diploma will include the following:
--your name (as listed on your graduation application in the field asking how you wanted it to appear on the diploma)
--your degree
--if applicable, your honors category (e.g., summa cum laude) based on your cumulative average at the end of the semester preceding the graduation semester
--if applicable, your membership in the Chancellor's Honors Program
The diploma will not list your major/minor/concentration. If you have any questions regarding the information that will appear on your diploma, when diplomas will be available for pick-up, having your diploma mailed to you, ordering copies of your diploma, etc., please contact the Office of the Registrar at 974-2101.
