Chen receives IMS Fellowship
Xia Chen, Associate Professor in the Mathematics Department, was recently informed that he has been elected to the Fellowship of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. Fellowship is a way of honoring the outstanding research and professional contributions of their members.
Professor Chen came to the Math Department in 2000. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics, Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH), in 1997.
