Award at Ocean Sciences Meeting for EEB grad student Xuehua Cui
Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Dept. grad student Xuehua Cui was one of 15 winners for outstanding student presentations at the Ocean Sciences Meeting in March 2008 in Orlando for her talk, "Effects of Prey and Environmental Variation on Spatial Distribution and Temporal Variability of Groundfish in the Northern Bering Sea."
With more than 4000 participants the Ocean Sciences Meeting will be the largest marine science research conference to be held globally in 2008 and the presentation was prepared as part of Ms. Cui's Ph.D. dissertation research.
