Prints By Beauvais Lyons Honored in Recent Exhibitions
This Fall prints by Beauvais Lyons, Professor of Art have been recognized in recent national juried competitions. Two of his prints were selected for the Los Angeles Printmaking Society 19th National Exhibition, one of which was awarded the Patricia G. Norman Award for the collection of the University Art Museum at California State University, Los Angeles. Lyons also received a juror's award for one of his prints in "Prints USA" a national competition hosted by the Springfield Art Museum, Springfiled, MO and has a print in the "New Prints: Autumn 2007" at the prestigious International Print Center, New York, NY.
