Two UT Microbiology Graduates win Placement in National Infectious Disease Program
Two recent graduates of the UT Department of Microbiology have won placements in the 2007-2008 Emerging Infectious Dieseases Laboratory Fellowship Program. Kansas Sparks was selected for placement at the Centers for Disease Control Division of Bacterial Diseases in Atlanta, GA and Jason Mooney was selected for placement in the California State Department of Health Services near San Francisco. These students were selected from over 250 national applicants for this highly competitive award. We congratulate these students for their selection.
