UT Music Professor Inducted in Knoxville Opera Hall of Fame
At recent Three Tenors Concert, Carroll Freeman, UT School of Music Director of Opera, was inducted into the Knoxville Opera Hall of Fame, along with other class of '07 inductees, Mary Costa, Don Townsend, Barbara Aston Wash, Mark Hill, the late Bill Martin, First Tennessee Bank, and U. S. Cellular, to name a few. The late Ed Zambara, Founder of Knoxville Opera, 1991 Hall of Fame member, and past Director of Opera at UT, was also honored in memoriam.
