Pianist David Northington invited to perform at U. S. Ambassador Victor Ashe’s residence in Poland.

As a result of his very successful concert tours of Poland and Italy in the spring of 2006, Dr. David Northington was again invited to return to both countries for ‘repeat performances’ in the spring of 2007.  These tours featured performances at the American Academy in Rome, Italy and special concerts in Poland at the following venues: solo recital of Chopin on the weekly series at the composer’s birthplace and museum in Zelazowa Wola, and a performance on the Sunday afternoon series at the Chopin Monument in Warsaw’s Laziencki Park. Northington also was invited to play a command performance by U.S. Ambassador Victor Ashe at his residence in Warsaw, as well as several performances and master classes in Krakow and surrounding cities.
