Professor Oscar Rivera-Rodas Organizes Jornadas Internacionales de Teatro Latinoamericano & de Poesía Latinoamericana
Professor Oscar Rivera-Rodas, Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures, is organizing the 16th annual Latin American theatre conference (XVI Jornadas Internacionales de Teatro Latinoamericano), July 7-10, 2008, in Puebla, Mexico, in honor of dramatist Marcela del Río. Immediately following this gathering, and in the same city, we will hold the 3rd annual poetry conference (III Jornadas Internacionales de Poesía Latinoamericana), July 14-17, 2008, in honor of poet Dolores Castro Varela. Both distinguished Mexican writers will attend the conferences.
